1Whip cream in a small bowl.cream: 1 c

2In a big bowl, beat eggs and slowly drizzle in rum and whiskey until incorporatedeggs: 2, rum: 1 c, whiskey: 1/2 c

3It's important to mix the alcohol directly into the eggs to kill bacteria.

4Mix in sugar , cream or milk and the whipped cream until smooth.sugar: 1/2 c, cream or milk: 1 c

5Transfer the eggnog to a vessel that will allow gas to escape.

6Chill in the refrigerator for ⏱️ 3 weeks .

7Aging will kill bacteria and enhance the flavor.

8The mixture will separate a bit as it sits, so stir it back up before pouring into glasses.
